The soils on the property are predominately Brigalow and Scrub soils with interspersed melon holes.
The soils are a mixture of dark and light grey loams with deep top soils being evident in the open gullies across the property.
There are smaller areas of sandy forest soils running off to the eastern boundaries and generous areas of pondage and melon holes with established paragrass throughout the property.
Timber:
The timber on the property consists of brigalow, belah, rosewood, box, poplar gum, moreton bay ash, red gum, ironbark,and bottle trees.
The property is well cleared with many shade lines and approximately 10ha of established Leucaena on Bar H.
Grasses:
Include buffel, rhodes, green panic, setaria, desmanthus, paragrass and couch. The recent development of 280 acres with new pastures including silk sorghum, buffel, rhodes grass, desmanthus and butterfly pea.

Water:

A new bore is located to the west of this dam and is connected to the turkey nest and the extensive watering system on the property which services numerous tanks and troughs.
The bore has water at 42m with 2,000 GPH. The standing water level is at 24m. There is an 18 meg water licence taking water from Tooloombah Creek for stock and domestic supply.

Bar H is subdivided into 20 internal paddocks plus laneways and holding paddocks. Corona is fenced into 8 internal paddocks with a central laneway and holding paddocks.
